And this is the one I´ve made: Free software and web2.0 tools used by /with my pupils, for etwinning Projects and Edixgal.





eTwinning offers different Online Professional development opportunities  at European level.

  • Learning Events are short intense and enjoyable courses that give you an introduction to a topic, stimulate ideas, helps develop your skills and do not require a long-term commitment in terms of your time.
  • Online Seminars are live video-communication sessions of one hour where you have the chance to learn, talk and discuss about several themes.
  • Teachers groups.

This is one of the “Creative group” activities for teachers we can use in  in our classrooms for online cooperative writing .titanpad

“Listos Ya”

“Este es un proyecto para estudiantes que inician sus estudios de español este año escolar (2016-2017)para darles la oportunidad de utilizar lo que han aprendido en clase y así motivarles a estudiar la lengua”

Este post está escrito en castellano porque es la lengua que se ha utilizado para llevarlo a cabo.

Han participado centros de Italia, Francia y Finlandia con alumnado de 6º de Primaria del C.E.I.P Manuel Vidal Portela de Pontevedra. Las actividades realizadas han sido muy variadas pero no están de forma pública por decisión de los promotores del Proyecto. En el diario público del Proyecto pueden verse parte de las actividades realizadas.

Cabe destacar la actividad realizada para el día de la Paz que está publicada en el Blog cooperativo “Acercando aulas” recientemente premiado con la Peonza de Plata .

“Christmas connections 2016”

The project focus on communication. Our pupils exchanged cards and messages. Some schools produced ecards, using Scratch.
The children have learnt from each other about Christmas around Europe, including traditions, carols and food. We have used a number of IT tools( tuxpaint, G.I.M,P Vocaroo…etc), and hold video calls, including a conference carol concert.
Children have taught each other some of their language.
There is a Project Diary linked from schools’ websites.
I has been used for teachers to develop links with partner schools. This has both aided language teaching and learning in our schools and complemented planned professional development using Erasmus+ funding.
The project has facilitated international peer learning. It has fostered an appreciation of the project languages and increased pupils’ awareness of the countries in Europe.24 schools from 14 countries around Europe have been included in it.

Part of the activities can be seen at the public twinspace for the Project.
Logo has been designed by all the participant school choosing one letter from the Project name.

Our school has designed two letters one by 6th graders at Arts and Crafts bilingual section (letter C) and the other one by the rest of Primary groups in a cooperative way (letter N).

this letter contains Spanish and Galician traditions specially at Christmas.

this letters focuses around Pontevedra our town.

Google docs have been used to design the Project in a cooperative way.
A cooperative cooking book has been made by our pupils with traditional Christmas recipes from partner countries.

Pobble writing Project

pobblebChildren wrote their stories using their Native language and they shared them using videoconference tool adobe connect from Project twinspace.

Some of the writings were too long to be read and translated to partners through the videoconference chat , so we recorded them so that you can hear what our pupils have done.
We shared them with our partner using adobe connect videoconference tool from etwinninlive. First, we showed where we are in a map .Three schools were connected sharing their works. The Spanish pupils read in Spanish while the teacher summarised their readings in English  through chat.

Working in groups we were looking for geometrical shapes within the pictures.

We made a grid with the results and using the interactive whiteboard we discovered lots of different shapes: circles, squares, rectangles…etc.

Using Freemind my pupils made  mind maps relating the writing topic to the different Subjects/activities at school.
